Job summary

M.C. Dean's Critical Power Group is seeking an on-site UPS technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and service battery and power electronics systems at diverse facilities.

You will perform preventive maintenance, respond to emergency service calls, and support engineering with on-site diagnostics while coordinating with subcontractors. Ideal candidates have 2+ years in power electronics maintenance, familiarity with UPS systems and test equipment, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret complex technical instructions, plans and schematics.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

• Maintain/repair UPS systems and battery backup equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and on-site testing.
• Respond to emergency service calls 24/7 when on call.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and customers during on-site visits.
• Complete field reports, time sheets and expense reports.
