Job summary

M.C. Dean seeks an experienced technician for the Critical Power Group to maintain and troubleshoot UPS and battery systems at high-profile facilities across the United States. The role involves on-site work, emergency call availability, and coordination of subcontractors.

Requirements include 7+ years OEM experience in power electronics and a degree in Electrical/Electronics, with proficiency in Microsoft Office. Expect rigorous safety standards and travel as part of daily duties.

Qualifications

• AA/BS degree in Electrical and/or Electronics from an accredited college or university, or equivalent field or military training.
• Minimum of 7+ years OEM experience in power electronic system maintenance and repair.
• Experience with UPS systems, batteries, test equipment, and associated electrical apparatuses like switchgears, panels, breakers, disconnects, ATSs, and generators.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, service, and troubleshoot UPS systems, batteries, and other critical infrastructure equipment.
• Emergency on-call support and 24/7 availability when not on PTO.
• Coordinate and manage on-site subcontractors and maintain documentation.
