Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. is seeking a field service professional to install, repair, and maintain power electronics and related systems at customer sites. The role requires travel and on-call availability, with a focus on safety, documentation, and quality workmanship.

Ideal candidates have a 5+ year background with UPS, batteries, and high- voltage equipment; strong electrical knowledge; and the ability to coordinate subcontractors and communicate effectively with customers.

Qualifications

• AA/BS degree in Electrical and/or Electronics from an accredited college or university, or equivalent training.
• This position requires at least 5+ years of experience with UPS systems, batteries, test equipment, and related electrical apparatuses.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematic diagrams.
• Strong working knowledge of NEC, maintenance practices, and quality control procedures.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

• Travel to sites as required with an on-call availability (24/7 unless on PTO).
• Install and repair static switch and PDU systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance on contracted equipment.
• Provide technical support to customers.
• Coordinate and manage on-site subcontractors hired by M.C. Dean.
• Complete Field Service Reports, Time Sheets, and Expense Reports timely and accurately.
