Job summary

Rush Truck Centers is seeking a New Truck Sales Representative to prospect and close truck sales in an assigned territory, primarily in person and away from the dealership. The role requires maintaining a strong pipeline, frequent customer visits, and coordinating with service and finance teams.

You will manage a mix of key and retail accounts, document activities in Microsoft CRM, and strive to meet monthly sales targets. A GED or high school diploma and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year related experience and/or training preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be insurable per Rush requirements.

Responsibilities

• Self-generate prospective customers and opportunities with new and existing customers.
• Manage 10–50 assigned key accounts and 20–100 retail accounts inside or outside the marketplace.
• Make personal sales calls in the territory at customer locations at least three full business days per week.
• Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline by spending time outside the office and following up on quotes.
• Utilize Microsoft CRM to document all communications, appointments, quotes, and activities weekly.
