Job summary

Great Bay Staffing Group seeks a skilled Field Engineer to own the technical relationship between engineering and the field for RF-based C-UAS hardware and software. You will be the primary product expert, guiding customers and internal teams with technical judgment in mission-critical deployments.

You will lead training, manage third-party partners, and serve as Tier 2 escalation while supporting field surveys, installations, and RF configurations.

Qualifications

• This role requires 5-7 years in Field Engineering, Technical Training, or Professional Services in high-tech hardware/software.
• Deep knowledge of RF systems and C-UAS technology.
• Experience managing third-party service providers or channel partners.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field.
• FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate preferred.
• Able to lift and move field equipment up to 50 lbs.
• Willing to travel domestically and internationally (up to 75%).

• Lead in-person or virtual training sessions on C-UAS hardware and software.
• Work with third-party service partners to evaluate and elevate their technical performance.
• Serve as Tier 2 support escalation, diagnosing and resolving complex system issues.

This role puts you at the center of a growing counter-drone technology company, owning the technical relationship between engineering and the field. You'll be the primary product expert on RF-based C-UAS hardware and software, and the person both customers and internal engineering teams turn to when it matters most. • Demonstrated experience managing and scaling third-party service providers or channel partners
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related technical field
• FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate highly preferred
• Able to lift and move field equipment up to 50 lbs
• Willing to travel domestically and occasionally internationally (50-75%, based on training schedule)
