Job summary

Piper Companies in McLean, VA is seeking a Field Training and Support Engineer to serve as a technical product expert for Counter-UAS systems, leading hands-on and remote training and supporting deployments.

The role requires 5–7 years of field engineering experience, strong RF/C-UAS knowledge, and experience coordinating with third-party service providers; FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot certification is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience in Field Engineering, Technical Training, Professional Services, or a similar technical role supporting hardware and software products.
• Deep knowledge of Radio Frequency (RF) systems and Counter-UAS (C-UAS) technology.
• Experience managing, training, or overseeing third-party service providers, technical partners, or channel partners in a customer-facing environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related technical field. FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate is highly preferred

Piper Companies is seeking a Field Training and Support Engineer to join a fast-paced, on-site position in McLean, VA. This role will serve as a technical product expert supporting advanced Counter-UAS (C-UAS) systems.

Compensation for the Field Training and Support Engineer includes:

• Salary Range: $120,000-$140,000
