Job summary

Flagger Force, Inc. is seeking a Field Trainer 2 to deliver hands-on field training and classroom instruction, promoting safety and quality standards across the workforce.

You will coach field employees, identify growth opportunities, and maintain high engagement with interactive teaching methods. The role requires travel within the local area and strong collaboration with safety personnel.

Qualifications

• Expertise in hands-on field training techniques.
• Ability to identify and support student career development.
• Proficient in maintaining high student engagement levels.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly and manage time effectively.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
• Steel toed boots or the ability to obtain prior to employment.
• Must hold all required DOT qualifications for assigned territory.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert hands-on training and classroom instruction to ensure safety and quality standards.
• Identify and support student growth with guidance for career advancement.
• Maintain high student engagement with interactive teaching methods.
• Administer roughly 50% classroom instruction and 50% field training.
• Administer hands-on training for various courses and evaluate students.
• Monitor engagement and learning levels across classes.
• Review training materials for accuracy and relevance.
• Identify potential instructor candidates and help develop junior instructors.
• Maintain a clean, organized classroom and inventory of materials.
• Travel within 1–2 hours from home frequently, with potential overnight stays.
• Provide field on-the-job training as needed and support safety personnel with investigations.
• Collaborate with peers and managers to align processes and procedures.
