Essel is seeking a Construction Quality Assurance Technician to perform daily site inspections at landfills or construction sites and ensure compliance with design plans and specifications.

The role includes overseeing landfill gas systems, coordinating with contractors, and maintaining thorough daily logs and reports. Ideal candidates have an engineering-related AA, 1 year of field experience, and strong written/oral communication skills.

Competenze

• 1 year of experience on active construction sites or engineering field work.
• AA in engineering degree preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record.
• Ability to use Microsoft Office and read maps and construction plans.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Geosynthetics and soils knowledge preferred.
• Must meet physical requirements for driving (pick-up truck), lifting up to 50 lbs., climbing ladders, and working in varying weather conditions.

Mansioni

• Conduct daily site inspections at landfills or construction sites.
• Oversee and inspect landfill gas and landfill construction to ensure design plan compliance.
• Perform construction quality assurance (CQA) for drawings and specs.
• Maintain and monitor landfill gas or remedial systems.
• Coordinate with General Contractors and Subcontractors.
• Submit daily written and photo log reports.
• Prepare construction documentation reports as requested.
• Assist in training engineering technicians and staff in field activities.
• Assist in office operations when requested.
