Job summary

Weaver Consultants Group is seeking a Field Technician in Denver, CO to perform environmental field sampling and monitoring at solid waste facilities. The role involves out-of-town assignments, extensive travel, and reporting findings to the Project Manager.

The position requires a HS Diploma with preferred associated degree in geology or environmental science; OSHA/HAZWOP is a plus, and a valid driver’s license is required. Expect fieldwork in diverse climates with safety as a priority.

Qualifications

• Holds a high school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree is preferred.
• Travel up to 50% of the time for project assignments.
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable vehicle are required.
• Experience with field sampling and health & safety protocols is preferred.
• HAZWOP ER certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and document activities at landfills, including soils and liners.
• Perform field and laboratory testing of construction materials.
• Prepare data and write reports for project management.
• Ensure on-site safety rules are followed and quality standards met.
• Manage well and gas probe installations and sampling operations.
