Job summary

Acosta in New York seeks a Territory Sales Representative to close sales through face-to-face meetings with retailers in assigned territory, presenting proposals and explaining product benefits.

You will drive growth by expanding distribution, negotiating with customers, and coordinating with the sales team; a valid driver's license and ability to drive a van are required, with a bonus program in place.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Must possess strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Ability to read and follow a plan-o-gram (POG).
• Must be able to drive a commercial van and have a valid driver's license.
• Sales or consumer goods experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct professional product presentations to current Retail customers.
• Grow market share by expanding distribution and coverage in independent Retail C-Stores.
• Evaluate customers' needs and build lasting relationships.
• Achieve sales goals and strengthen brand presence and merchandising.
• Use iPad for reporting inventory and sales daily and weekly.
• Assist with orders, quotations, and follow-up.
