Job summary

Vermeer All Roads in Charlotte, NC is seeking a hunter-minded Outside Equipment Sales Rep to lead prospecting and grow market share. You’ll haul demo units and conduct on-site demonstrations to win business and showcase capabilities.

You will own the full sales cycle, build relationships, and travel to customer sites daily. A base salary plus commission, company vehicle, and benefits are included in this role.

Qualifications

• 21+ years old or older.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Ability to obtain DOT medical card.
• Outside sales experience preferred (heavy equipment).

Responsibilities

• Prospect for new business and manage territory activity.
• Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to close.
• Load, transport, and operate compact equipment for demos.
• Sell and rent compact lines (brush chippers, stump cutters, mini skid steers, trenchers).
• Identify customer needs and monitor market conditions/pricing.
• Track pipeline in CRM (Salesforce).
• Manage key accounts and provide pre/post-sale support.
• Travel daily to customer sites and work independently.
