Vermeer All Roads in Charlotte, NC is hiring a hunter-minded Outside Equipment Sales Rep to grow Vermeer Core/Compact equipment sales. You will load, transport, and operate demo units, conduct on-site demonstrations, and build relationships to win new business.

The role covers the full sales cycle from prospecting to close, requires independent travel daily, and offers a base salary of 40,000 plus commission with a company truck, fuel card, and benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years old.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• Ability to obtain DOT medical card.
• Previous outside sales experience; heavy equipment preferred.
• Strong communication and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Prospect for new business and manage account activity within territory.
• Own the full sales cycle: prospecting → demos → proposals → close.
• Load, transport, and operate compact equipment for demos.
• Sell and rent compact lines: brush chippers, stump cutters, mini skid steers, trenchers, attachments.
• Identify customer needs; monitor market conditions and competitor pricing.
• Track pipeline and activities in CRM (Salesforce).
• Manage key accounts and provide exceptional pre/post-sale support.
• Work independently and travel to customer sites daily.

Are you a self-starter who loves prospecting and winning new business? Vermeer All Roads in Charlotte, NC is hiring a hunter-minded Outside Equipment Sales Rep to sell Vermeer Core/Compact equipment (mini skids, chippers, trenchers, etc.). This hands-on role “tows and shows” — you’ll haul demo units and run on-site demonstrations at customer locations to showcase capabilities, build relationships, and grow market share.

Compensation & Schedule

• Base salary: $40,000 + commission
• Company truck, fuel card, laptop, and cell phone provided
• Flexible schedule — no nights or weekends
