Qualifications

• 2+ years of technical sales experience, machine vision preferred.
• Must be able to visit multiple customer accounts in a day using own transportation.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to relocate and pursue opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Achieve defined sales quota for current and prospective customers in the territory.
• Meet activity-based objectives: visits, new customer acquisition, product introductions.
• Prospect new opportunities via cold and warm leads and schedule site visits.
• Travel to customer facilities to demonstrate Cognex products and provide solutions.
• Capture competitive information and update CRM project details.
• Support trade shows and marketing events to generate qualified leads.
• Generate leads for other Cognex teams by identifying complex vision applications.
