Job summary

Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers, Inc. is seeking an outside sales Territory Manager for the Western Slope region. You will drive new business, manage accounts, and expand the territory through proactive prospecting and strategic relationship building.

You will travel to auctions, work from a home office, and report to the Regional Sales Manager. A strong track record in quota-driven sales and excellent communication skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 2 to 10 years in a structured outside/field sales role and a consistent track record of meeting/exceeding quotas.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Equipment Industry or Construction Equipment experience preferred.
• Experience in quota-driven sales required.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Able to build and maintain authentic customer relationships.
• Competitive without sacrificing integrity.
• Work primarily from a home office and on the road.

Responsibilities

• Sell multi-channel solutions, source and maintain accounts, and grow sales within the territory.
• Sell all Ritchie Bros. multi-channel solutions through prospecting and pipeline management in the assigned territory.
• Develop new business while supporting existing accounts through relationships with customers.
• Build and maintain the territory playbook and use CRM (Salesforce) regularly.
• Deliver value via presentations to meet specific customer needs.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to negotiate and close deals.
• Attend 4–6 auction sales in the region; travel 5–7 days per month for territory coverage.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Travel overnight 5 to 7 days per month; 1–2 days prior to each auction.
