Qualifikationen

• 3–5 years’ ISP/OSP cabling experience.
• Understanding of TIA/EIA, BICSI, IEEE standards as they apply to OSI Layer 1.
• Ability to interpret engineering packages.
• Experience in both inside and outside cable plant environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Lift items per NIOSH limits; comfortable with confined spaces.

Aufgaben

• Interpret engineering packages and support job site coordination for materials, tools, and work crews.
• Interface with the end customer, attend project meetings, submitting daily or weekly status reports as applicable.
• Work within ISP installation crews to perform infrastructure installation, demolition, and updating.
• Assist with pre-installation testing of materials.
• Perform activities required for ISP installation and related actions, including confined spaces when needed.
• Maintain responsibility for quality of effort and safety of personnel.
• Maintain proficiency working with copper.
