The MIL Corporation is seeking a Telecommunications Infrastructure Technician III to support Inside Plant cabling installation for a Federal Government client at Camp H.M. Smith in Aiea, HI.

The role operates on a 4‑12s on-site schedule, with potential changes based on contract needs. The candidate will lead a small team, interpret engineering packages, coordinate materials and labor, and ensure safety and quality in ISP installations.

Qualifikationen

• Requires HS/GED and 6+ years ISP/OSP cabling experience.
• Strong knowledge of industry standards (TIA/EIA, BICSI, IEEE).
• Ability to interpret engineering packages and work with project staff.

Aufgaben

• Act as technical lead for a team of Telecommunications Technician I and II.
• Interpret engineering packages and support job site coordination for materials/tools/work crews.
• Interface with the end customer and attend project meetings; submit status reports.
• Perform ISP installation, demolition, and updating within crews.
• Assist with pre-installation testing of materials.
• Maintain safety and quality of work; lift items per safety standards.
• Maintain proficiency with copper cabling.
