The MIL Corporation is seeking a Telecommunications Infrastructure Technician III to support the installation of Inside Plant cabling for a Federal Government client at Camp H.M. Smith in Aiea, HI. The role leads a small team and coordinates with Project Managers and Engineers to ensure installation quality and safety.

On-site schedule is four 12-hour days per week with potential adjustments. Requires 6+ years of ISP/OSP experience, ability to obtain a Secret clearance, HS/GED, and a valid

Qualifikationen

• 6+ years' experience working ISP and/or OSP cabling and cabling infrastructure.
• Ability to interpret engineering packages and apply standards (TIA/EIA, BICSI, IEEE).
• Experience in inside and outside cable plant environments.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and organization skills.
• Ability to interface professionally with project staff and team members.
• Able to perform ISP installation activities and related actions.
• Must be able to lift items per NIOSH limits; stand/kneel/crouch for extended periods.
• Must be able to climb ladders/scaffolding; work in high places and confined spaces.
• Must work in hot/humid and cold environments; valid driver's license with clean record.

Aufgaben

• Act as a technical lead for a team of three Telecommunications Technician I and II personnel, offering direction and support.
• Interpret engineering packages and support job site coordination for materials, tools, and crews.
• Interface with the end customer, attend project meetings, and submit status reports.
• Work within ISP installation crews to perform infrastructure installation, demolition, and updating.
• Assist with pre-installation testing of materials.
• Maintain safety and quality of effort for personnel.
