Job summary

The MIL Corporation is seeking a Telecommunications Infrastructure Technician III to support Inside Plant cabling and related infrastructure for a Federal Government contract at Camp H.M. Smith in Aiea, HI.

The role is on-site with a 4–12 hour day schedule and requires 6+ years of ISP/OSP cabling experience, strong standards knowledge, and the ability to lead a small team. Responsibilities include coordinating materials, interfacing with customers, performing installation tasks, and ensuring

Qualifications

• 6+ years ISP/OSP cabling experience.
• Understanding of TIA/EIA, BICSI, IEEE standards.
• Ability to interpret engineering packages.
• Experience in inside and outside cable plant environments.
• Strong verbal and written communication and organization.

Responsibilities

• Act as technical lead for a team of three technicians, providing direction and hands-on support.
• Interpret engineering packages and coordinate materials/tools for jobsites.
• Interface with the end customer and attend project meetings.
• Work within ISP installation crews to install, demolish, and update infrastructure.
• Assist with pre-install testing of materials.
• Perform tasks in confined spaces as necessary.
• Maintain quality and safety of personnel.
• Maintain proficiency with copper infrastructure.
