Job summary

Charter Communications, operating Spectrum, seeks an Outside Sales Representative to engage directly with communities in our service areas. You’ll drive the sale of high-speed data, mobile, landline, and video services through face-to-face interactions, build lasting customer connections, and contribute to growth and satisfaction.

The role involves 90% outdoor work, flexible hours including evenings/weekends, and a comprehensive pay-and-benefits package with potential total compensation

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proven drive to succeed and meet sales targets.
• Willingness to travel locally and work evenings/weekends.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
• Comfort with computers and telecom devices.

Responsibilities

• Acquire new residential customers by visiting assigned leads and presenting Spectrum offerings.
• Conduct needs analyses to tailor product recommendations for prospective customers.
• Present sales proposals aligned with customer needs and Spectrum solutions.
• Complete sales paperwork, dispositioning, order entry and reporting.
• Attend sales meetings and training to support team goals and development.
• Achieve monthly sales targets across Spectrum services (data, mobile, voice, video).
• Monitor competitors and report insights to your manager.
