Job summary

Spectrum is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to connect with communities and grow our trusted telecom solutions. This role focuses on face-to-face engagement, building relationships, and expanding access to high-speed data and communications services.

You’ll work 90% outdoors, with a base salary plus incentives, and a potential total compensation of over $100,000 annually. A driving requirement and ability to travel are part of the job.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Engaging interpersonal skills and a drive to sell.
• Willingness to travel to assigned territories, including evenings and weekends.
• Valid driver’s license, car insurance, and a reliable personal vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Acquire new residential customers by visiting assigned leads and introducing Spectrum’s offerings.
• Conduct consultative needs analyses to tailor product recommendations for each prospective customer.
• Present compelling sales proposals that align with customer needs and Spectrum’s solutions.
• Complete all required sales documentation accurately, including dispositioning, order entry and reporting.
• Participate in sales meetings and training to support team goals and development.
• Achieve monthly sales targets across Spectrum services (high-speed data, mobile, landline, video).
• Monitor competitors’ activities within your territory and report insights to your manager.
