Job summary

Aggreko plc in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Field Technician Temperature Control or Power to maintain, diagnose, repair, test and commission power generation and HVAC equipment. You will be based at the Atlanta service center and travel daily to field locations in your company vehicle.

The role requires 4-7 years of experience with power generators or commercial HVAC equipment, reading schematics and performing preventive maintenance.

Qualifications

• 4-7 years of experience working on power generators and/or commercial HVAC equipment, performing inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
• Experience with calculating nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW requirements, along with reading and knowing schematics.
• Based on the customer requirements, you may be required to obtain and maintain a TWIC card or valid DOT medical card.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Based out of the Atlanta, GA service center and travel daily in the company vehicle to field locations.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs of power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment and/or oil free air compressors.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures at the shop and on customer locations, and handle the repairs.
• Work solo or with a team to set up and operate equipment at the shop and on customer sites.

Bring your energy to Aggreko as a Field Technician Temperature Control or Power in Atlanta, GA.

You'll perform maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, testing, and commissioning of Aggreko power generation and HVAC equipment. This role supports both shop and field operations by ensuring equipment is safe, reliable, and ready for customer deployment while adhering to Aggreko's safety, quality, and operational standards.

What you’ll do:

• You’ll be based out of ourAtlanta, GAservice center and can expect to work in the field with local travel daily in your company vehicle
• You’ll have an opportunity to work overtime and weekends, and there is a potential for travel
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs of power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment and/or oil free air compressors
• Troubleshoot equipment failures at the shop and on customer locations, and handle the repairs
• You will either be out on your own or teamed up with another technician(s) to set up and operate equipment at the shop and on customer sites

You are:

• High School diploma/GED or equivalent work experience
• 4-7 years of experience working on power generators and/or commercial HVAC equipment, performing inspections, maintenance, and repairs
• Experience with calculating nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW requirements, along with reading and knowing schematics
• Based on the customer requirements, you may be required to obtain and maintain a TWIC card or valid DOT medical card
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to move or lift objects, typically less than 50 lbs.

• Must be able to safely meet the physical demands outlined in the Essential Physical Capacities Assessment and pass the post-offer physical abilities assessment, which includes being able to lift (60 lbs), push/pull (80 lbs), carry (60 lbs), climb stairs and ladders as well as a combination of climbing while carrying objects (15 lbs), stoop, kneel and squat
