Job summary

Aggreko in Denver, CO is seeking a Power Technician 2 to service, repair, and operate Aggreko products in shops and at customer sites. You will work independently or as part of a team, performing preventive maintenance and repairs on power generators, diesel engines, HVAC equipment, and related systems.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED and 2+ years' experience, with schematics literacy and possible TWIC/DOT card; a valid driver's license is essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience on power generators and/or HVAC equipment.
• Experience reading schematics and calculating tonnage/kW.
• May be required to obtain TWIC or DOT medical card.

Responsibilities

• Based at Denver, CO service center; travel daily to customer sites in company vehicle.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on generators, engines, electrical equipment, HVAC, and oil-free air compressors.
• Troubleshoot failures at shop or on site and perform repairs.
• Work solo or in teams to set up and operate equipment at customer sites.

Job description

Bring your energy to Aggreko as a Power Technician 2 in Denver, CO. You'll work as a team or independently in shops and at customer sites to service, repair, commission, and operate Aggreko products.

Power without pause. Heating, cooling and oil-free air without end.

What you'll do:

• You'll be based out of our Denver, CO service center and can expect to work in the field with local travel daily in your company vehicle.

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs of power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment and/or oil free air compressors.

• Troubleshoot equipment failures at the shop and on customer locations and handle the repairs.

• You will either be out on your own or teamed up with other technician(s) to set up and operate equipment on customer sites.

You are:

• High School diploma/GED

• 2+ years of experience working on power generators and/or commercial HVAC equipment, performing inspections, maintenance, and repairs.

• Experience with calculating nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW requirements, along with reading and knowing schematics.

• Based on the customer requirements, you may be required to obtain and maintain a TWIC card or valid DOT medical card

• Valid driver’s license

• Ability to move or lift objects, typically less than 75 lbs.

• Must be able to safely meet the physical demands outlined in the Essential Physical Capacities Assessment and pass the post-offer physical abilities assessment, which includes being able to lift (60 lbs.), push/pull (80 lbs.), carry (60 lbs.), climb stairs and ladders as well as a combination of climbing while carrying objects (15 lbs.), stoop, kneel and squat
