Job summary

Midco of South Dakota, Inc. is seeking a Field Technician in Minnesota to install, maintain, and troubleshoot services for home and business customers.

You will assess feasibility, perform voice/video/data installations, and resolve issues with modern fiber technology while delivering outstanding customer experiences. This role requires problem-solving abilities, a valid driver’s license, and the completion of Midco’s FTR certification within 90 days.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Completion of Midco First Time Right (FTR) certification within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot services for residential and business customers.
• Perform voice, video, and data installations and service changes.
• Troubleshoot from tap to CPE and fix signal issues.
• Log all work orders and referrals to ensure proper addressing of customer requests.
• Educate customers on services and assist with adding new services or help resources.
• Attend on-call duties and maintain safety standards while on site.
