Job summary

Midco is seeking a Field Technician in the Mound area to install, maintain, and troubleshoot services for residential and business customers. You will perform technical assessments, manage installations and disconnections, and resolve network issues using cutting-edge technology to deliver great value and customer experiences.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and completion of Midco's FTR certification within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Customer-facing experience is a plus.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities are valued.

Responsibilities

• Conduct accurate technical evaluations of client spaces to determine service feasibility.
• Install voice, video, and data services in homes or businesses.
• Troubleshoot and repair services from the tap to CPE, ensuring optimal signal and picture quality.
• Coordinate with Field Ops and Business Services to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Educate customers on services, help them use equipment and access online support.
• Log work orders and maintain records of visits and service actions.
• Train and mentor team members as needed and cross-train on services.
• Maintain a clean work area and ensure proper disposal of debris after service.
