Job summary

Midco is hiring a Field Tech to install, maintain, and troubleshoot services for residential and business customers. You’ll work with cutting-edge technology to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction, with paid training and opportunities for advancement including quarterly bonuses.

Responsibilities include service installations/disconnections, fault troubleshooting, and customer guidance. A valid driver's license and completion of Midco FTR certification within 90 days are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver's license; clean driving record.
• Complete Midco First Time Right (FTR) certification within 90 days of hire and apply it on the job.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot services to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction.
• Conduct technical assessments and manage service installations and disconnections for homes and businesses.
• Troubleshoot and repair services from tap to CPE; address signal issues and ensure quality across TVs.
• Act as liaison between Field Operations and Business Services to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Promote Midco services and educate customers on usage and added services.
• Log required information on work orders and referrals to track customer interactions.
• Mentor teammates and cross-train on other services to meet demand.
• Maintain a clean work area and operate in a safe manner per policy.
