New Charter Technologies, LLC is seeking a Field Technician to install and support client technology, network infrastructure, and physical security systems in the Sparta, IL area. The role is hybrid with heavy travel to client sites across Southern Illinois and Southern Missouri, including regular visits to the Sparta office.

You will work with Windows, macOS, M365, and Entra ID, troubleshoot TCP/IP and Wi‑Fi, and handle cabling and asset documentation.

Qualifikationen

• 1–3 years of IT support or field service experience with Level 2 troubleshooting beyond basic help desk.
• Hands-on experience with CCTV, door access systems, and cabling installation/termination.
• Knowledge of Windows, macOS, Microsoft 365, and Active Directory/Entra ID.
• Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi‑Fi troubleshooting, and small network equipment.
• Strong customer service, valid driver’s license, and reliable transportation for travel.

Aufgaben

• Resolve dispatched on-site tickets involving hardware, software, network connectivity, and physical security systems.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot workstations, laptops, printers, phones, CCTV, and door access devices.
• Perform structured cabling installation and termination; diagnose TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and Wi‑Fi issues.
• Support office moves, user onboarding, device deployments, and equipment refreshes at client locations.
• Record work performed, update tickets, and manage asset information; coordinate with remote teams and escalate when needed.
• Communicate professionally with customers and explain fixes clearly; complete field assignments efficiently.
