ECS Limited is seeking a motivated Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Field Technician for our Oklahoma City team. The role is primarily field-based, focusing on field observations, data collection, and assisting with testing activities under supervision.

You will develop foundational technical skills while delivering reliable field support and customer service. We provide paid training and cover certification fees, with growth opportunities as you gain experience.

Qualifikationen

• 0 years of related experience
• High school diploma or GED required
• Obtain basic certifications applicable to the work performed as per the ECS Technician Certification Policy
• If driving for or on behalf of any ECS subsidiary, a valid driver’s license is required
• Good communication skills (verbal, written, and reading comprehension)
• Dependable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented work ethic
• Basic math skills and data entry ability
• Ability to read maps, follow directions, and interpret plans (developing)
• Basic proficiency with electronic devices (tablets, phones, laptops)
• Ability to work effectively with supervisors, peers, and clients
• Ability to lift equipment and materials regularly (up to ~85 lbs)
• Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle and follow all local and state laws, road/driving regulations, and company policies
• The following US Military ranks will qualify for this position IF they also meet the education and licenses requirements: E-4

Aufgaben

• Performs field observation, testing, and sampling of soil, aggregates, and concrete under supervision
• Assists with construction materials testing activities on project sites
• Communicates daily with contractors, technicians, and project managers
• Reports changing site conditions and additional testing needs to supervisors
• Assists with preparation and submission of daily field reports
• Supports basic calculations and data entry related to testing results
• Assists in organizing and maintaining field equipment
• Notifies supervisors of damaged or missing equipment
• Participates in project meetings with senior staff as requested
• Performs other field and project support duties as assigned
