Qualifications

• 0 years of related experience
• High school diploma or GED required
• Obtain basic certifications per ECS Technician Policy
• Valid driver's license if driving for ECS
• Good communication (verbal/written)
• Dependable, self-motivated, detail-oriented
• Basic math and data entry skills
• Ability to read maps and follow directions
• Basic proficiency with electronic devices
• Ability to lift up to 85 lbs
• Ability to work with supervisors, peers, and clients

Responsibilities

• Performs field observation, testing, and sampling of soil, aggregates, and concrete under supervision
• Assists with construction materials testing activities on project sites
• Communicates daily with contractors, technicians, and project managers
• Reports changing site conditions and additional testing needs to supervisors
• Assists with preparation and submission of daily field reports
• Supports basic calculations and data entry related to testing results
• Assists in organizing and maintaining field equipment
• Notifies supervisors of damaged or missing equipment
• Participates in project meetings with senior staff as requested
• Performs other field and project support duties as assigned
