Job summary

Carolina Handling, LLC is seeking field technicians to service and repair material handling equipment at customer sites. You’ll diagnose electro-mechanical issues, perform installations, and maintain strong customer relations while upholding safety and professionalism.

The role offers a company-provided service van, a comprehensive tool kit, and a path for growth and development through training and mentorship. OT opportunities are available to increase earnings.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1–3 years in maintenance, repair, or installation preferred.
• Solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulics, and electronic systems; able to read schematics and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting: identify and diagnose electro-mechanical problems; perform installations and repairs.
• Customer Interaction: engage with customers to address concerns and ensure satisfaction.
• Professionalism: maintain a professional demeanor and represent the company positively.
• Repair Work: execute repairs efficiently and address issues promptly.
• Scheduled Maintenance: perform maintenance for contracted customers per policy.
• Inventory Management: track parts and supplies in the service van.
• Van Maintenance: keep the service van stocked and maintained.
• Safety Compliance: follow safety guidelines at customer sites.
• Additional duties as assigned to support operations.
