Electric Power Systems (EPS) is seeking a Field Technician II to perform testing, inspection, and maintenance of substation electrical equipment with increasing independence and safety focus. The role involves troubleshooting, documentation, and collaboration with engineers and senior technicians to ensure readiness for service.

Candidates should have a degree in electrical technology or military experience, plus 2–4 years in the industry and NETA II certification.

Qualifications

• Requires safety-sensitive work; pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Experience testing high, medium, and low voltage equipment; ability to read schematics/diagrams.
• Knowledge of breakers, transformers, CTs/PTs, and fault diagnosis with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety policies and PPE usage in substation environments.
• Perform testing, inspection, and maintenance of electrical equipment with minimal supervision.
• Document testing and maintenance per project requirements.
