ThinkTech in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Field Technician II to troubleshoot and repair onsite IT issues across diverse client environments. This role involves traveling to client sites and taking ownership of issues until resolution.

You'll diagnose PCs, printers, networks, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points, coordinate with vendors, and maintain strong client communications. A MSP background is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of IT support experience, preferably in an MSP.
• Experience supporting Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Windows, and Mac environments.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals including switches, VLANs, wireless networking, and firewalls.
• Ability to independently troubleshoot and manage onsite technical issues.
• Strong customer service, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation, with ability to travel regularly to client sites throughout the region.

Responsabilités

• Travel to client locations to resolve technical issues that require onsite support.
• Troubleshoot PCs, laptops, printers, peripherals, and common business applications.
• Independently troubleshoot and resolve network, internet, and wireless connectivity issues.
• Diagnose and replace switches, firewalls, wireless access points, and other infrastructure equipment.
• Serve as the primary onsite resource during client-impacting outages and escalated technical issues.
• Coordinate with vendors, internet service providers, and client stakeholders to drive issues to resolution.
• Build trusted client relationships through clear communication, professionalism, and a solutions-oriented approach
• Document work performed and collaborate with teammates to deliver effective client support
