Job summary

UES, Inc. is seeking a Field Technician II to support engineering, environmental services, materials testing, and inspection projects.

You will perform advanced field and laboratory testing, conduct on-site inspections, and ensure construction and environmental projects meet industry standards and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, technically proficient, and comfortable working outdoors in dynamic environments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; related coursework preferred.
• 3+ years of field-based experience in materials testing or inspection.
• ACI Level 1 Concrete Testing certification preferred or obtainable soon.

Responsibilities

• Perform field testing on soil, concrete, asphalt, aggregate, and other construction materials.
• Collect, label, and transport samples to laboratories while maintaining integrity.
• Maintain testing equipment and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
• Complete detailed test reports and communicate updates to project managers.
