Job summary

Intertek, a leading provider of quality and safety solutions, seeks an Entry Level Field Technician I for Macomb, MI. You will perform testing (soil, concrete) and site assessments under supervision, using drawings and specifications.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and reliable driving record.
• Must be able to work off shift and overtime as needed.
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
• Ability to lift 30–50 pounds frequently; over 50 pounds with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Operate testing equipment and conduct testing (soil, concrete or other) and provide data interpretation.
• Utilize drawings, specifications, and diagrams during testing.
• Make detailed observations of site activities and provide limited interpretation of results.
• Maintain detailed documentation and data from test results.
