Job summary

UES is seeking a motivated Field Technician I to support engineering, environmental services, materials testing, and inspection projects. You will conduct on-site inspections, collect samples, and perform laboratory testing to ensure compliance with project specifications and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 0–3 years of field outdoor experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• OSHA safety adherence and PPE knowledge requested.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field and lab testing of soil, concrete, asphalt, and aggregates per specs.
• Collect, label, and transport samples to laboratories for testing.
• Prepare detailed test results, logs, and reports for stakeholders.
• Maintain testing equipment and ensure proper calibration and safety.
• Communicate site conditions and test results with supervisors and project managers.
• Adhere to project timelines and safety protocols, including PPE usage.
• Operate a company vehicle and perform related duties as assigned.
