UES is seeking a motivated Field Technician I to perform on-site inspections, materials testing, and environmental sampling for construction, infrastructure, and environmental projects.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; related coursework is a plus.
• 0-3 years in outdoor/field roles preferred; construction/materials testing experience a plus.
• Valid driver's license with clean record; ability to operate company vehicles.
• OSHA safety standards and PPE usage; basic MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field and laboratory testing of soils, concrete, asphalt, and aggregates.
• Collect, label, and transport samples to laboratories for testing.
• Prepare detailed reports and logs of test results for project managers.
• Maintain testing equipment and ensure proper calibration and function.
• Communicate site conditions and updates to dispatch and supervisors.
• Adhere to project timelines, safety protocols, and company policies.
• Support travel to multiple job sites and adapt to changing conditions.
