Job summary

Intertek Field Technician I in Lima, OH conducts testing on soils, concrete, and other materials, using drawings and specifications to guide field work. The role involves documenting data, making site observations, and ensuring accurate reporting of test results.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to travel up to 25% with willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. ACI certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires valid driver's license and ability to travel up to 25%
• Requires ability to perform lifting and outdoor work in varying weathers
• Must be able to read drawings, specifications and diagrams
• Must maintain detailed documentation of test results

Responsibilities

• Operate testing equipment and conduct testing (soil, concrete or similar) and report data
• Utilize drawings, specifications, and diagrams during tests
• Make detailed site observations and provide limited interpretation of results
• Maintain meticulous test result records and documentation
