Job summary

Southeastern Equipment invites applications for Field Technicians to perform diagnostics and repairs on company-owned and customer-owned equipment in the field. You will be responsible for complete repairs, keeping up with certifications, and maintaining safe, organized shop and job-site practices.

Qualifications

• Education: GED/High School Diploma + a minimum of 2 years of Diesel Technology, Agricultural Technology, Automotive Technology, or Heavy Equipment Technology degree (or equivalent experience).
• Experience: 2-5 years working with hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems, or experience in heavy equipment maintenance.
• Must pass a criminal background check and drug screen (including medical marijuana).
• Must be authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Complete repairs and maintenance on equipment, ensuring everything is up to manufacturer standards.
• Stay up to date on all certifications, training, and dealer updates related to the equipment we sell and service.
• Perform diagnostics using various tools and equipment, such as laptops, and follow manufacturer procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment, both at the shop and at customer job sites.
• Maintain positive communication with customers, and collaborate effectively with service, parts, and administrative teams.
• Operate heavy equipment and trucks safely.
• Follow all safety protocols and company policies to ensure a secure and compliant work environment.
