Job summary

Southeastern Equipment's Field Technicians are essential to keeping our operations running. You will diagnose and repair company-owned and customer-owned equipment in the field.

Role requires 2–5 years in diesel/heavy equipment tech, valid driver’s license with CDL if needed, and a strong commitment to safety and teamwork. We offer competitive pay starting at $33+ per hour with overtime and full benefits.

Qualifications

• GED/High School Diploma + a minimum of 2 years of Diesel Technology, Agricultural Technology, Automotive Technology, or Heavy Equipment Technology (or equivalent experience).
• 2–5 years working with hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems, or experience in heavy equipment maintenance.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and the ability to obtain a CDL if necessary. Must also maintain an insurable driving record.
• Must pass a criminal background check and drug screen (including medical marijuana).
• Must be authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Complete repairs and maintenance on equipment, ensuring everything is up to manufacturer standards.
• Stay up to date on all certifications, training, and dealer updates related to the equipment we sell and service.
• Perform diagnostics using various tools and equipment, such as laptops, and follow manufacturer procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment, both at the shop and at customer job sites.
• Maintain positive communication with customers, and collaborate effectively with service, parts, and administrative teams.
• Operate heavy equipment and trucks safely.
• Follow all safety protocols and company policies to ensure a secure and compliant work environment.
