Job summary

Uniti Group Inc. operates a Field Service Technician program through the Kinetic unit, delivering residential and business telecom services nationwide.

Technicians install, repair, and support phone, internet, and video offerings while following safety protocols and reporting to the Manager of Local Operations. Ideal candidates have basic technical skills, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Basic technology and math skills required.
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record required.
• Ability to distinguish colors in color-coded cables.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work aloft.
• Must successfully complete required safety training.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair residential and business communications services (phone, internet, video).
• Train with tools and test equipment to support multiple technologies.
• Recommend products and services to meet customer needs.
• Work in buried and aerial plant, including pole climbing and ladder work.
• Operate and maintain company vehicle safely and cleanly.
• Perform inside and outside work environments as needed.
• Attend safety training and follow safety standards.
