Job summary

Uniti Group’s Kinetic unit is seeking a Customer Service Technician I to install and repair residential and business services including telephone, internet, and video. You will train with test equipment, work on buried and aerial plant, and help customers choose products that meet their needs.

You will operate a company vehicle, work indoors and outdoors, follow safety rules, and report to the Manager of Local Operations.

Qualifications

• Basic technology and math skills required.
• Valid driver’s license with safe driving record.
• Ability to distinguish colors for color-coded cabling.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform climbing tasks.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair residential and business services (telephone, internet, video).
• Train with tools and test equipment for multiple technologies.
• Recommend products/services to meet customer needs.
• Work in buried and aerial plant, including pole climbing and ladder use.
• Safely operate and maintain company service vehicle.
• Perform duties indoors and outdoors, following safety standards.
