Job summary

Uniti Group Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Technician to install and repair residential and business communications services, including telephone, internet, and video.

You will work with tools and test equipment across various technologies and network designs, and help customers select suitable products and services. Responsibilities include climbing poles, working with ladders, operating company vehicles safely, and serving both indoor and outdoor environments while following safety

Qualifications

• High School Degree or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work aloft.
• Ability to distinguish colors for color-coded cabling.
• Completion of required safety training.
• Ability to work varied schedules, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Willingness to respond to after-hours callouts.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair residential and business communications services including telephone, internet, and video.
• Train and work with tools and test equipment to provide service of multiple technologies and network designs.
• Recommend products and services that resolve customers’ communications needs.
• Work in buried and aerial plant requiring pole climbing and ladder Skills.
• Safely operate and maintain a clean and organized company service vehicle.
• Work in both inside and outside environments.
• Complete necessary safety training and follow safety standards and regulations.
• Report to the Manager of Local Operations.
