Job summary

WSI Technologies is seeking a hands-on Field Technician to install, maintain, and troubleshoot systems across customer sites in North Carolina and beyond. The role is hybrid, field-based with remote work between customer visits, and requires travel up to 80–85% with a company vehicle and gas card provided.

You’ll install, configure, and test recording infrastructure, resolve hardware/software/network issues, and document resolutions in the ticketing system.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience supporting Windows desktop and server environments.
• Strong troubleshooting across hardware, software, and network connectivity.
• Experience with ITSM or ticketing tools such as ServiceNow.
• Excellent communication, organization, and time-management; ability to work independently.
• Willingness to travel up to 80-85% and obtain required government site clearance.
• Able to climb ladders and lift up to 70 lbs of equipment.
• Experience with phone recording software, hardware, or telephony systems.
• Experience with Active Directory and Exchange.
• Relevant certifications (NICE, CompTIA A+/Network+/Server+/Security+, Microsoft, CCNA).
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering/Math/Business or related field.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure WSI systems on-site, including servers and recording infrastructure.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network issues; respond to tickets per SLA.
• Document installations and resolutions in the ticketing system; maintain service records.
• Serve as primary tech contact during on-site visits; communicate timelines and progress.
