Job summary

WSI Technologies in Michigan is seeking a hands-on Field Technician to install, maintain, and troubleshoot systems across customer sites.

You will work independently in the field, travel up to 85% with a company vehicle provided, and handle Windows servers, networking, and recording infrastructure. The role requires certifications, security clearances, and strong communication, with remote intervals between visits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
• Relevant technical certifications such as NICE, CCNA, and CompTIA stack.
• Hands-on experience supporting Windows desktop and server environments.
• Strong troubleshooting across hardware, software, and networks.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure WSI systems on-site at customer locations.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network issues; escalate as needed.
• Maintain service records, create tickets, and update customers on progress.
• Travel between customer sites up to 80–85% and ensure site clearance/background checks.
