Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking field technicians to sample fresh concrete, run slump, air, temperature, and cylinder sets, and document results the same day on active job sites. You will work outdoors and travel between sites as needed.

We provide hands-on training and sponsor certifications such as ACI Concrete Field Testing Grade I and NICET levels as you progress, with safety and quality at the forefront of every test performed.

Qualifications

• Must be reliable and detail-focused in field testing.
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Driver's license with clean driving record required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sample and test fresh concrete per ASTM C172, C143, C231, C1064, and C31.
• Run field density and moisture tests per ASTM D6938.
• Prepare clear daily field reports tied to placement locations.
• Maintain gauge standardization, cure boxes, and chain of custody.
• Communicate results to superintendents on the spot.
