Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking field technicians to sample fresh concrete, run slump, air, and temperature tests, and prepare cylinder sets. You will verify soil compaction and document results the same day, and communicate findings to the superintendents.

No experience required for entry level; we train and sponsor ACI Field Grade I, nuclear gauge safety, and NICET Levels as you progress. The work is outdoors, physically demanding, with travel across sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Comfortable working outdoors on varied sites.
• Willingness to learn certification training; certifications sponsored.
• ACI Field Grade I and nuclear gauge certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Sample and test fresh concrete per ASTM C172, C143, C231, C1064, and C31.
• Run field density and moisture tests per ASTM D6938.
• Prepare clear daily field reports tied to placement locations.
• Maintain gauge standardization and chain of custody.
• Communicate results to superintendents on site.
