Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks field technicians to sample fresh concrete, run slump, air, and temperature tests, and cast cylinders while documenting results the same day. Training is provided and we sponsor ACI Field Grade I, nuclear gauge safety certification, and NICET Level I/II as you progress.

The role is outdoors, physically demanding, and involves traveling to multiple sites. You will work with superintendents, report promptly, and contribute to safety and quality on every project.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; entry-level position with training provided.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying conditions and climates.
• Reliable, detail-focused, and willing to learn new certifications.

Responsibilities

• Sample and test fresh concrete per ASTM C172, C143, C231, C1064, C31.
• Run field density and moisture tests per ASTM D6938 and document results.
• Maintain equipment and ensure chain of custody for each site test.
• Communicate results to superintendents on-site and update field reports.
