Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking field technicians to perform concrete sampling and testing on active job sites across our operations. You will run slump, air, temperature tests, and cylinder casts, documenting every result the same day as site work proceeds.

Roles are outdoors, physical, and highly hands-on, with emphasis on accuracy and timely reporting. No experience is required to start; we provide structured field training and sponsor ACI Concrete Field Testing Grade I, NICET Level

Qualifications

• No prior certifications required to start; structured field training provided
• Company sponsors ACI Grade I, NICET I/II as you progress
• Must have valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Able to work outdoors in varying weather; reliable and detail-focused

Responsibilities

• Sample and test fresh concrete per ASTM C172, C143, C231, C1064, and C31
• Run field density and moisture tests per ASTM D6938
• Prepare daily field reports tied to placement locations
• Maintain gauge standardization, cure boxes, and chain of custody
• Communicate results to superintendents on the spot
