Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking field technicians to sample fresh concrete, run slump, air, temperature tests, and manage cylinder sets while documenting results the same day. Training provided; we sponsor ACI Field Grade I and NICET Levels as you progress.

This is an outdoor, physical role with strong attention to safety and accuracy. You will coordinate with superintendents on-site, perform density and moisture tests, and travel to various project sites.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Comfortable outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Reliable, detail-first, and coachable.
• We sponsor ACI Field Grade I and NICET Levels as you progress.

Responsibilities

• Sample and test fresh concrete per ASTM C172, C143, C231, C1064, and C31.
• Run field density and moisture tests per ASTM D6938.
• Prepare clear daily field reports tied to placements.
• Maintain gauge standardization, cure boxes, and chain of custody.
• Communicate results to superintendents on the spot.
