Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking field technicians to join our team. You will sample fresh concrete, perform slump, air, and temperature tests, and cast cylinders while documenting every result the same day.

No experience required; we train on the job and sponsor certifications including ACI Field Grade I and NICET levels as you progress. Expect outdoor work, travel to site locations, and a fast-paced environment where accuracy matters.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• Willingness to work outdoors in varied conditions.
• Reliable, detail-focused and coachable.
• Certification sponsorship available as you progress.

Responsibilities

• Sample and test fresh concrete per ASTM C172, C143, C231, C1064, and C31.
• Run field density and moisture tests per ASTM D6938.
• Prepare clear daily field reports tied to placement locations.
• Maintain gauge standardization, cure boxes, and chain of custody.
• Communicate results to superintendents on the spot.
