Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking field technicians to sample and test concrete, run slump, air, and temperature tests, and document results the same day. The role includes field density work, site reports, and direct communication with superintendents on-site.

No prior certifications are required to start; the company sponsors ACI Field Grade I, nuclear gauge safety certification, and NICET Levels I/II as you progress. Outdoor, physical work across multiple sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
• No certifications needed to start; company sponsors ACI Field Grade I and nuclear gauge.
• NICET Levels I and II pursued as you progress.

Responsibilities

• Sample and test fresh concrete per ASTM C172, C143, C231, C1064, and C31.
• Run field density and moisture tests per ASTM D6938.
• Prepare clear daily field reports tied to placement locations.
• Maintain gauge standardization, cure boxes, and chain of custody.
• Communicate results to superintendents on the spot.
